INTERNATIONAL TRENDS AND SERVICES

Silver Spring (MD) Chapter

The Silver Spring (MD) Chapter is committed to expanding global awareness and fostering cultural, educational, and economic empowerment through the International Trends and Services facet. With a focus on sustainable and measurable service initiatives, we develop and implement programs that address the educational, health, and cultural needs of people of African descent worldwide. Our approach emphasizes direct engagement, advocacy, and long-term impact, ensuring that our outreach efforts lead to lasting change.

Embracing a “boots on the ground” philosophy, we take a personalized approach to improving the lives of women, children, and families across the globe. Through partnerships and programming, we champion initiatives that promote empowerment, economic self-sufficiency, and social justice advocacy, strengthening communities through education, mentorship, and global leadership development.

Initiatives such as our LIFE: Youth International Entrepreneurial Program provide 21 high school students (grades 10-12) with an immersive, week-long experience designed to enhance their understanding of entrepreneurship within the global economy. By equipping youth with the tools to navigate international business and policy landscapes, we continue to cultivate future global leaders committed to making a difference.
