Services to Youth

Silver Spring (MD) Chapter

The Services to Youth facet is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower young people with the skills and resources necessary for success in the 21st-century workforce and beyond. Rooted in a commitment to academic excellence, cultural enrichment, health awareness, and career development, this program was established to address the multifaceted needs of youth through mentorship, education, and leadership opportunities.

Our primary objectives include promoting early literacy, implementing mentoring programs from kindergarten through college, closing academic achievement gaps, introducing and supporting STEM education and career readiness, increasing high school and college graduation rates, awarding scholarships, and strengthening educational endowments.

In partnership with Montgomery County Public Schools, we implement engaging programs that improve students’ reading and math proficiency while fostering a love of learning. Through this collaboration, we expand access to valuable resources, introduce innovative uses of technology, and provide effective strategies to enhance student achievement. By combining mentorship, academic support, and enrichment activities, we create meaningful opportunities that inspire and equip students to reach their full potential.
